Due to the secure nature of the work the candidate must hold full UK security clearance status.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

You should be able to evidence recent experience of implementing changes on a range of LAN/ WAN and Firewall devices using Change Control processes. You will demonstrate a solid grounding in change control, high standards, time self-management and excellent communication skills. You will be experienced in telecoms implementations and have advanced Cisco knowledge.

Experience and Key Skills:

• Strong familiarity and subject matter expertise in relation to Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Change Control, Implementation, Documentation
• Ideally relevant qualifications and sufficient experience in relation to the above
• LAN/WAN / Firewalls / CCNA
• Experienced in Telecoms implementation
• Advanced Cisco IOS skills & experience
• Strong familiarity with a wide range of Firewall vendors (Cisco ASA, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto, McAfee)
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, sub-netting, IP address allocation & management
• Strong understanding of ITIL and change management methodology
• WAN installation/migration experience
